Karpov not Kasparov, an amazing group from Romania, judging by the name of his project, was obviously inspired by the great Soviet chess players of the last century, which makes their performance in Russia especially intriguing.
Valery Borkos and Edward Gabia founded the group in 2009 in Budapest and have since gained recognition in their homeland and in Europe. As the producer of the festival Tinkoff STEREOLETO Ilya Bortnyuk says about them, “Daft Punk would have sounded like this if its members were born in Bucharest, grew beards and loved the old analog synthesizers and Soviet films The Secret of the Third Planet, Great Space Travel, and Moscow "Kassiopeia".
On July 7, the group will debut in Russia - don`t miss this intriguing performance!
