The Moscow-based band Verbludes has been promoting its own brand of melodic guitar pop for several years. The band's music is overflowing with perfect vocal harmonies and choruses of melody that could be envied by their Western counterparts, such as Mac Demarco or Real Estate. The band has released three albums and played many festivals across the country. Fans appreciate the band for their cheerful attitude to life: Verbludes give people such a crazy positive charge on their performances that it is simply impossible not to fall in love with them. The musicians position their style as surf rock, but their music sounds not only sonorous and danceable, but also quite meaningful: "I won't help myself, I call my friends for help — ow, ow" — sings the leader of the group Anton Brunov in the chorus of the title song of the new album called "Ow". The themes of Verbludes ' songs are diverse: rejection of growing up, toxic relationships, and even party fatigue. But still, Verbludes is the perfect summer music: dance, dance and once again forget about all the boring nonsense!
