Tima ischet svet
Tima ischet svet is a project of a young Moscow musician Timofey Yakimov, who writes sometimes disturbing and slightly gloomy songs at the intersection of hip-hop and indie rock. This spring, Tima released an intriguing new album, "Mirror", which features a gallery of unsightly characters, full of imperfections, doubts and contradictions, in which each of us may recognize ourselves. The release of the new album was preceded by a controversial advertising campaign. On the streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg, PR people put up posters with the album cover-a sketch of Tima with black holes for eyes and the caption "A missing person". In total, about two thousand such ads were posted. Sometimes passers-by were frightened by these strange posters and did not understand what they symbolized, it even came to complaints. The previous release of the musician "Slaughterhouse" released on the Universal label, the publication "Afisha Daily" called one of the 30 best post-Soviet albums of 2020. In early March, "Tima is looking for Light" recorded a fit with singer Lisa Gromova. The song " Six " tells about a hero who can not survive a breakup and tries to keep a girl who has come to terms with what happened and is ready to move on.
