Musya Totibadze is a Moscow singer who performs melodic indie pop and has confidently won a place in the sun on the domestic stage over the past few years. The singer's debut album, Boy, released in 2019, attracted the attention of music critics with its lightness and freshness. Airy electro-pop with light guitars and uncomplicated lyrics about love and youth appealed to the audience. In Totibadze's work, mischief is juxtaposed with precision — it seems that Musya seems to playfully and not seriously create nuanced music, which is difficult to find fault with. There are synths, but no hackneyed retro vibe; there are relevant and catchy lyrics, but nothing provocative or provocative. Last year Musya Totibadze presented a new album "Youth". The new songs raise the themes of freedom of thought, music and life. The single "V. O. L. K" was presented separately. A video was made for this song, where the showman Alexander Gudkov, who already collaborated with Musya in 2019, appeared in the video for the song "I Run Away". In the new work, Gudkov played the evil wolf, and Totibadze played Little Red Riding Hood. Totibadze repeatedly appeared in the musical segment of the program Evening Urgant on Channel One. The festival will feature tracks from the new album in a fresh arrangement and popular hits.
