EMIKA

Emika is a British singer and musician of Czech origin living in Berlin. She plays electronic music, close to such genres as dubstep and trip-hop, where the main thing is the atmosphere. Emika is immersed in the musical world since childhood, having learned to play the piano at an early age. Her debut album was released in 2011 on the independent label Ninja Tune and attracted the attention of listeners and music critics. In 2014, Emika launched her own label Emika Records. Now she has released six albums. A huge part of the singer's work is taken by the theme of ecology - Emika actively demonstrates her civic position on this complex issue. Emika's music is often compared to the works of Tom Yorke and Massive Attack, but you can truly appreciate it by seeing a unique performance of Emika with a piano and a huge amount of electronic gadgets, looped electronic sounds, samples and non-trivial sound effects on the stage of our festival.
