THE NEW YORK SKA-JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble (NYSJE) is a world-famous ska-jazz band. NYSJE tours extensively around the world. To date, the group has done 70 European tours and continues to perform regularly in Europe, Canada, USA, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. NYSJE's recordings and performances were highly appreciated by the audience due to their incredible energy, because the original interpretations of jazz standards in the style of ska can hardly leave anyone indifferent. An interesting historical fact: NYSJE was the first band playing ska that played in Poland after the fall of the Berlin Wall. On June 1, the band released their 14th studio album. More than 26 years of experience of improving the genre makes itself felt - live band sounds just amazing. From the traditional vibrations of “Chicky Chicky Boom Boom” and “Love and Affection” to the rhythms of reggae and rock in “Subliminal Seduction”, the easy swing “Perfiida” and the frantic drive of “Blowout”, a truly nuclear mix of Jamaican rhythms with American jazz and R & B , merging together in the most powerful sound, will undoubtedly make the guests of our festival dance impetuously!
