The leader of this distinctive dream-pop band from Khabarovsk, frontman and vocalist Sergey Khavro once started recording his music right in the bedroom of a one-room apartment, but over time brought the project to large sites. Having moved from the Far East to the West, now Muscovites, PARKS, SQUARES AND ALLEYS play a melodic and sometimes melancholic dream-pop. The music of the group is distinguished by a warm, cozy sound with an appreciable stylistic influence of British guitar music of the 80s and 90s in the style of indie, psychedelic harmonies of the 60s, sticky choruses - all this makes listening to songs of PARKS, SQUARES AND ALLEYS over and over again. Guitar parts here are distinguished by their special airiness, achieved with the help of an abundance of cosmic sound effects. A clear, professionally tuned rhythm section provides the perfect beat, typical of good pop music in general. Most of the tracks of the group are performed in English, and so qualitatively that sometimes it seems that you are in front of a band from London, not Khabarovsk. PARKS, SQUARES AND ALLEYS has several successful albums published in Russia, and participation in major festivals in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
