OPTIMYSTICA ORCHESTRA

Optimystica Orchestra is the musical project of the leader of the Tequilajazzz group, Yevgeny Fedorov. For 15 years now he has been collecting musicians from the best rock bands of the country, where they, dressed in strict costumes, together perform high-class pop music ranging from Ska to Bossa Nova. The repertoire of the group is based on the author's material, written by Eugene especially for this project, and some rethought songs “Tequilajazzz”. The project was formed in 2004, at the same time the first album “Полубоги вина” was recorded. In the period from 2010 to 2014, Optimystica released several mini-albums: «Иду налегке» and «Маленькая Хонда». In 2016, the group released the second album “Солёный как Солнце” - this is the first work of the orchestra, released on a vinyl record. The album was warmly welcomed by both listeners and the music community. In September 2018, the presentation of the single “Дождь/Лень” took place. In the geography of the orchestra's performances - tours in Russia and the USA, participation in many major festivals. In 2019, the team celebrates its 15th anniversary and will play all its best tracks at our festival!
