The music of Tosya Chaikina is the perfect soundtrack for sunny summer weekends and, therefore, for our festival! Indeed, Tosya’s voice is so clear and transparent that it sometimes resembles an unexpected warm breeze, which is so rare in our northern latitudes. The elegant sound range, woven from smart lightweight electronics and modern beats, adds charm to the sound palette. Last year, the St. Petersburg singer literally blew Itunes: her “Песни морю” hit the top downloads online. Tosya's "Цветы" debut album hit the top 10 albums of the month according to the «Коммерсантъ» edition.

Tosya was born in a very musical family. Her grandfather is a famous composer and conductor, the head of the national orchestra of Tatarstan. The father is also a conductor, and the mother and grandmother are the vocalists. At the age of 11, Tosya won the competition for young vocalists named after Elena Obraztsova, and received classical music education at the Rimsky-Korsakov School. Despite her young age (Tosya is only 22 years old), she has many musical projects and collaborations with famous performers such as Assai, SunSay, Zhenya Milkovsky (“Нервы”), the group “Лауд”.
