KENAKO

Kenako is a musical group of afrofuturists, desperately pressing with sunny melodies and hot rhythms on the strings of a delicate human soul. Kenako performs the author's dance music in the areas of afrobit, jazz-funk, fusion. The team gathered in St. Petersburg in 2017 and today has 9 people, including the legendary personalities of the St. Petersburg underground. The ideology of the collective is simple like a potato: dance is life, music is love, rhythm is like the sun! The program of the group is exotic to admiration: the author's blend of tropical vibrations, afrobit roasted in the world fusion and a direct current of selected dance music. All this is seasoned with impressive wind and percussion sections, therefore it is absolutely impossible to stand still when Kenako distributes. Kenako is a rather rare phenomenon for St. Petersburg and northern latitudes in general: an incendiary mixture of Afro-Cuban rhythms will not allow even the most professional melancholic to resist.
